Our Mission

Meeting youth where they are — and lifting them where they could go.

Fewer than 30% of Chicago youth meet daily physical activity guidelines. In under-resourced neighborhoods, the barriers — equipment, transportation, safe space — stack high. Meyer Sports NFP removes them. We bring structured sports into schools and community spaces, then walk alongside young people from their first game through their first season of leadership.

Our Commitments

We set clear goals — and we measure against them.

Reach

Serve youth across every age group and neighborhood we target

School & community engagement

Active programming in local schools and community spaces

Improve physical activity levels

More movement, confidence, and healthy habits for every participant

Youth leadership development

Train young adults as junior coaches, officials, and mentors

Academic engagement

Academic support and character development for teens in our programs

Community reach

School & Community Partners

Programming where the kids already are — in school.

We bring programming directly onto school property and into community spaces, align our calendar with the academic year, support physical education and in-school assemblies, and work with educators and counselors to enroll the students who need us most — expanding to additional schools and neighborhoods in the years ahead.
